I had Brogan, his dad Brian and grandpa Stan out this morning for a early beat the heat trip on Lewisville. They only kept fish the first 30 minutes for a fish fry and then it was catch and release from 6:30-9:30. The caught some good hybrids and blue cats both. I cleaned 5 nice hybrids, 10 good cats and a few sandies. They threw back fish after fish until they had enough. Brogan finished the morning with a 35" monster blue that smooth wore him out. Scale said 28.61 lbs and he had a big head on him. Off the lake before it got too terribly hot. Hardly a breeze on the lake at all. www.ntxfishing.net to book a trip. I have several days open this week and even some weekend days left open coming up.
