I am setting up to start pouring plastics just as a hobby. I have read some reviews about plastisol that doesn't heat well or discolors easily. What is the best plastisol to use based on your experience?

MF has been the most consistent for me. Forgiving and easy to pour or shoot. Their soft is very soft, but gets the best action I'd get 5 gallons of their soft and a small bottle of hardener (a little goes a long way) just in case you want some baits a little more durable (flipping baits/frogs/swimbaits) Pouryourownworms.com

I like bait junkies the best they have very good customer service and they also make some really good molds, MF is ok but after about 6 months or so from being in a bag they get super oily for some reason.

I have been using lurecraft med formula and is pretty good as is. You can always tweak it to what you prefer but it is pretty good with heat for the most part. I have only had issues with plastic burning when I put it in for too long or have more colorant than normal, I would say about 100% human error in my experience haha.

It will all dis-color if the plastisol is overheated. Try not to heat over 325.
