MsBass...how about a fall outing? It is too hot right now.

I snuck a trip into the Brazos on Thur, just me and a few steers along the river, it was beautiful, caught 5 fish at a pool below a rock ripple, 7 miles against the wind in the yak had me hurting, but i would do it again, just to be outside dallas. I think a gathering in a general area for an outing would be fantastic.Somebody set something up, bass, crappie, fly, we all have something to give and get. Still green to fishing but willing to have fun.

In fact, we need a G2G like the boys have,charter us a boat in the in some fantastic land far away, catch lots of fish and talk about them, take lots of pictures, go home with a smile on your tanned face.

I cannot afford a boat charter. It would be awesome though. Glad you have fished some, and are still enjoying it. How is your new boat doing?

Me too. I haven't been very active cuz I am not getting many answers to my questions...will keep trying tho. I'm in the area of Lake Houston, but fish the whole zone from High Island down to Quintana.

What questions do you have, maybe I can help, maybe not. Just lay them out there, and see if anybody knows. Maybe nobody answered because they don't know.

One of my questions was for where is a good place to wade fish on the bay side in the zone from Freeport to Galveston. I've tried the Cold Pass area twice and had really mixed luck.

Well that is something I have no idea about. Try the bank fishing area, or maybe someone in the fly fishing area would know...and of course the open saltwater forum might be able to help. Sorry I could not help you more.

I have been a member of the forum since March and really like it. I am hoping I can meet some women to go fishing with, I really have a hard time finding people. I fish by myself most of the time. I do not have a boat right now and never thought I wanted one but things have changed now. I tryed a tournament once and really loved it so now I am getting back to being serious about bass fishing again. How come I only see guys in Tournaments and not two gals? Come on girls lets show them what we got.

Well if you were in my area you could fish with me sometimes. I am not interested in tournament fishing though. I go to get rid of stress, and if I was in a competition, it would add stress. I just go for fun and relaxation. I hope you can find a fishing partner on here who lives nearby.
