Present, although I usually spend more time in the bassfishing section, it's cool to have a ladies' section and I don't mind being in the basement, The way I look at it, the basement can be a safe place to stay out "tornados"!

I'm brand new today and I don't fish, but I mange my DHs (CT) fishing tackle store.  I'm trying to learn as much as possible to be able to sound like I do to customers.

I guess I need to say howdy in here Hailing from Grand Prairie, but usually posting from work in downtown Dallas. I'm a country girl, grew up on a farm, stuck in the big city. I tend to prefer fishing by myself simply because nobody that I know likes fishing. I'm pretty self taught, read a LOT, paid attention, and I'm learning more. Last time I got to go fishing was 2 weekends ago, but I'm headed out to lake Bob Sandlin this weekend. May even take the canoe and paddle a bit. Have a great evening!

Welcome to the forum Kattelyn. Bob Sandlin is a pretty nice little lake. I have fished there a few times at the pier. The weekends are very crowded though. (on the pier)

Thanks! Bob Sandlin is one of the few state parks left that I haven't gone to. I always seem to be on the way to go somewhere else.
Definately looking forward to getting out. Now I just want a warm weekend!!!

Here! Just discovered the forum not long ago and am LOVING it. I'm usually lurking in the Bass section and have learned some great tips.
I like having a separate women's forum too, though, because there are some issues that are specific to us and its nice to have a place to get together.

Glad you dropped in. Sorry I don't have anything to brag about,lately. I promise I will work harder on it. I'm just not a winter fisherman. Tomorrow it's supposed to be almost 70 degrees and me and the hubby have a cold. Go figure it was just 19 degrees with ice/sleet everywhere the other day. 
I can't wait till the weather is more stable. Hope you catch a bunch. Look forward to hearing from you.
