My Fellow TFF Family,

My wife is a Paramedic First Responder and she also runs an animal rescue

On Tuesday a friend of hers and her boyfriend were rear ended by an 18 Wheeler at George Bush Turnpike and Highway 75. They were injured and knocked unconscious.

They woke up in the hospital and told the Texas State Troopers that their dog Daisy was in the backseat and asked where she was. The Troopers did not know anything about the dog and no dog was found at the scene or in the destroyed car.

The owners were laid up in the hospital and all they could do was plead with friends and strangers to please help find their dog on social media.

Various people and organizations have been out looking for Daisy since word got out.

My wife organized a search party with her animal rescue at Mutts and Mayhem and they set out today to search for Daisy. Two hours into the search Daisy was found alive with a badly broken leg in multiple places.

She was about 3/4 of a mile from the original accident scene under a bush with grass as high as 4 feet. It was a miracle that she was alive and that anyone found her due to the location.

My wife's animal rescue is sponsoring Daisy and all her medical bills will be paid by Mutts and Mayhem. If you would like to donate you can go to Every little bit helps even $5.00.

My wife video streamed the rescue she is the one doing the narration.

All the local news channels have reached out to my wife they want to do an interview with her.

Channel 4 FOX ran a great story last night.
Channel 8 ABC ran a story last night, but the Channel 4 was better in my opinion.

My wife is personally doing an interview later today with Channel 11 CBS.
I'm sure it will air later tonight.

What a happy day yesterday was...I'm so happy Dad and I are heading out to Sling some Slabs!

Here is a link by an updated story WFAA did. It was better than what first aired on Sunday.

The story was on the radio WBAP 820 yesterday.

My wife is interviewing with the radio station KRLD 1080 this morning.

Channel 11 is wanting to pick up the story after the reunion with Daisy and her owners.

Daisy is most likely going to lose her leg due to the severity of the fracture.

Any and all donations to Mutts and Mayhem no matter how small will help with the Vet Bills for Daisy and other animals that Mutts and Mayhem rescues. To those that have donated a sincere thank you.

Erica her owner has a fractured back.

That is the latest.
