Academy has them for 5 or 6 bucks. I haven't been able to find any major difference from brand to brand other than price. I keep one on every rod.

Rod socks are a must for me. I definitely think they help keep your rods from being banged up too bad. I prefer the Rod Glove.

Wmart sells Ozark Trail brand.
They do help make storing and transporting rods easier

Southwest Supply sells the one with the grommet in the end. This allows you to hang the rod and reel from a peg board which saves the expense of a rod/reel storage device.

Buy them a foot short. They don't get along with treble hooks at all.

Rod gloves here too. Also use the same brand of reel covers. Different colors for different action rods..I even have two pink ones for my fairy wands.

Rod Gloves on mine. I don't have fairy wands. Tacklewarehouse sells them from 4-6 bucks. They also have xl for the long rods.
