Losing my marbles trying to decide. First time buyer here. I am STUCK between a 2014 Nitro Z7 and a 2017 aluminum Ranger RT188. I know the pros and cons when it comes to glass and aluminum. About 6K seperates the cost of the two boats. Electronics are about the same, TM, upgrades are all similar. In your experience would you shell out the extra cash for the boat with the FULL warranty on both motor and hull or "save" the cash for the cheaper boat that has no warranty? Both boats are easily affordable for me. Any wisdom would be appreciated!

If you can't find em wind em.

Unless you're mostly fishing small waters or shallow stump filled areas I'd go glass every time. Tin rigs will beat you to death in open water.

Nitro, no doubt. You will kick yourself the first time wind gets to 15mph. And it does that a lot in Texas.

Go with the Nitro if you mainly fish lakes, aluminum boats are good for creeks and rivers.

If it was easy, everyone would do it
