I have enjoyed my whopper plopper, nice work!

Yes Okie.....low budget, internet short stories in the 90's.

I went out with Dannie Golden on Ray Roberts today. He recommended I bring some whopper ploppers. If he had not suggested it, i may never have bought any. I had boated 5 before 7am using a white one. Yes color me a happy and surprised angler.

I threw my shoulder out today chunking one. I like them too but I couldn't buy a bite on it this morning.

Nice bass. The WP is a must have, it will work anywhere if you match the hatch.

Watched my buddy land a 5lb last night a WPlopper. cool rig

After reading all this hype I had to pick one up today on the way to work. I'll put it to test this week and see if it really works or I just spent the most money on a lure for nada

TMD111 my buddy also tied a [censored] knot and flung his 60 yards out in a dead still pond. So i just swam out and got it. to damn expensive not to. ill try to get a photo

Bwahahaha, what "hatch" does any Plopper match? Sorry, but they do work though!

Man, I'll bet that was fun! And I have the same problem, lots of blow-up, and a swing and a miss!!! I guess I just don't have the patience. But it sure is FUN!!!

I have used them a lot the last 2 years and found that on the blow up just keep reeling until the line is tight then set the hook. Of course that is using the slow continuous retrieve not the popping.

My whopper Plopper is starting to feel like a Whopper Flopper. Been slinging it for the past three mornings and only got one dink. Yesterday not a single strike so I switched to a spinner bait. In the same spots I tossed that turd I caught a 4 a 3 and two 2's within 20 minutes. I ain't giving up hope thought. for the $16.99 plus tax I'm gonna get my moneys worth out if it one way or another.
