Great joke but true. Last year fishing out of Dauphin Island, Alabama, while red snapper fishing my buddy thinks the huge fish he had on hung him up on the wreck. We encouraged him to stay at it and he pulls up this, hard to see the scale but 6 foot, approximately 250 lb bull shark.

The next day, we hang and fight a great kingfish. After a while its just dead weight and again my buddy thinks its gotten hung up. We encourage the boy on the rod to stay with it though and pulls up a 50 lb plus king, it was dead weight because it foul hooked itself and was dead on the line.

If you are saying my buddy needs to quit thinking about getting hung up, a few years ago in the deceptive currents of the Boca Grande pass, he had an epic hour long fight with a tarpon that turned out to be the bottom of the pass, exhausting, fruitless, and embarrassing, so that's why.
