Side sweep hookset like a Carolina rig. Haven't lost a single fish in 3-4 years of fishing it.

Kinda sweep your rod and reel into them. That's the best way I've found and I don't lose many fish on them.

My wobble heads that I build get a split ring. This takes their leverage away. Hook up ratio is excellent and they all have 3D eyes.

Try the walker head by xcite. It has a sharp straight shank hook.

I throw big baits on them and use 7/0 - 8/0 hooks.
