I have a 5.5 amp battery and it works great. I am not sure how big a motorcycle battery is.

Hey Fishbonz! I got an email last night that my photobucket account had been "flagged for excessive 3rd party usage"! Guess they finally got around to me. So, I'm also looking for a photo site. Sirjet. I am putting a depth finder on my kayak. Using a 12v battery from home depot. It runs 13 bucks approximately.

Hate to say it but I TYS I figured you`d be on the water today or at least finishing up about now with a limit I`m in the same boat as you I have to find another photo mgr also. MAGIX is okay but it`s just a free trail for a few days then you have to pay sooo ..that ain`t happening. If you find a Good one let me know.I take it you know what a Good one means right?........FREE!

What size battery do I need? Would a motorcycle battery work? Jet get you a SLA0077 12v 2.9ah Maintenance free "Rechargable" ! It will fit in one of your pouches on your tube and it will last for years. It doesn`t weigh very much it`s only 4"h,x 3"w,& 2 1/8" thick. What Mod Humminbird is that?

I wish I was on the water today. That work thing tends to get in the way of my fishing time! Hahaha! I'm thankful for it though. Sure beats the alternative. Yes! Free is the definition of a good site! Problem is I haven't found a good site yet. Hopefully soon. Skip linked his photo from photobucket, so there's still that. But lazy people like me don't want to have to click anything more than necessary. It's so time consuming.

I use a battery pack with AA batts. I think it would be a little lighter than a deer feeder type battery.

Looks like the "third party excessive usage" got you. Get the nice little screen on the links.
