Very interesting that so many throw them yet you never hear that they do. I don't remember a time where I saw one as a lure of the top finishers. We don't get to see every cast they make in every event but big swimbaits get used often. They use a lot of stuff they try to stay quiet about. The Whopper Plopper was being used for 3 years afore the word got out. A big deal now is throwing a horny toad on a buzzbait.
