I was wondering if anyone that has their CHL is a member of USCCA? If so What do you think about it?

I'm with Texas Shield. No insurance provided, just legal assistance.

I'm going to be looking into signing up with something early next year. I originally signed up with Texas Shield but cancelled it within a couple of days. I didn't like the reviews that I was seeing and wanted to do some more research.

I do - sick of their million emails and attempts to get you to join their elite clubs and buy their great priced products. But I've never had to deal with the insurance (a good thing), but I know they have done some good things for people.

So, in short, no real issues. smile

I hope to never need it. But this day and age. You never know. I just want to make the best decision for me and my family.

Agree with you. I certainly believe any of them will step up if ever needed, I just hope it's not. Texas is probably a lot more forgiving than most place, so I give thanks for that!

I have Texas Law Shield. It is not insurance. It is attorneys on retainer. They don't cover me losses. They just try to keep me out of jail and my subscription covers their fees. Read the fine print.

Neither is going to court with a last minute lawyer or a lawyer not experienced in defending someone for protecting themselves or family.

Big decision on that sort of insurance.

You are better off having a pre-established relationship with a good attorney on your own.

Read the fine print. I believe you may be covered for what might be considered an easily winnable case.

Would you like to let someone pick an attorney for you where you are in a fight for your freedom and possible finances?

I don't have any first hand experience with it, but I'm hearing good reviews of the NRA's version.
