Will be at Palestine starting tomorrow. Hope the fishing is as good as a few weeks ago. If you see a red/white Crestliner 2200 Bay center console on the water stop by and say hi. I'll try to post how I do each day. Plan is to hit brush in 13-18' and may try the bridge during the heat. Haven't heard much about docks yet so may hit them a bit just to see.

Your BP plan should be solid, and the bridge will produce as well if you're patient. Water may be a bit high to hit many docks, and summer usually isn't the best time for docks on Palestine.

Here is a summary of the last 3 days. Friday- started slow but the 4 of us finished with 33 keeper crappie (and a couple keeper hybrids caught on crappie jigs/poles). Saturday- the 4 of us caught 53 keeper crappie Sunday- the 4 of us caught 77 keeper crappie (along with 2 more hybrids)
It's gotten better each day. Took a day to dial the in but feel like I've done good at figuring them out and finding the better brush piles for me. All have come off brush mainly in 11-15' of water. Today's 77 only came in 2 piles! One gave up 42 keepers and the other 35. We'll see if those 2 spots reload for tomorrow morning! Will be out early again in the morning. Was good talking to 3Nails on Friday at the ramp. I've got pictures. Will post when I get the chance.
