I am new to a boat and still trying to finger out how to really read a graph. I am honestly not even sure it's setup right. Last night I pulled up on something that may have been brush and fish. We sat there 2 hours and went through 4 dozen minnows. Went to a CC spoon after.

Oddly, on minnows we caught:
Catfish
Bass
Drum
Perch
Stripper- tons of 12-14" fish
Sand bass
Crappie- tons of 9.5" fish

Forgot to throw the cat back so he got thrown in with the bass. The bass was kept because it wasn't gonna make it after I dug the hook out of him.

This isn't the most fish I've put on the boat but it's the most with a rod/reel. We got board at Squaw Creek the other day and started cast netting Talapia. I put 43 of those puppies on and only stopped because I broke the net.

Pretty sure you don't want to mention this on internet...

Why is that as it is completely legal.... This is a TPWD excerpt from a story about Fairfield which is another Talapia overrun lake.

Quote:
. In addition to bow fishing, tilapia can be collected by seine or cast net and occasionally by rod and reel. Anglers have reported harvesting more than 100 fish per day while bow fishing for tilapia on Lake Fairfiel

The only illegal thing I can think of doing with a Talapia is throwing one back in the water.

not for invasive just have to be gutted before transport. I never understood why people would pay good money to eat trash fish that's often passed off to be catfish.
