Gotta jump on the "please help me on this lake" band wagon, hehe, but really thanks in advance. Anybody been on Broken Bow recently? Or ever? Here on family vacation, going to try to fish it for the first time tonight or tomorrow if my boat will cooperate. Really different than lakes I usually fish. Really really clear and rocky and deep. That mean I need to go really deep? Any spots or how to fish or anything in general would be awesome, just looking to have a good time with my uncles. Appreciate everybody, this forum is awesome.

If your boat don't cooperate contact Bryce Archie. Used him last year and had a great time.

I was there about a month ago and caught them good on a drop shot in 10'-20' water along rocky banks.

We go every year, usually in late May or sometime in June. I made it easy for myself the first time I decided to bring my boat so I didn't have to spend a lot of time learning a new lake while vacationing with the family. Ever since then, I've done the same thing every year I've been and have always caught fish. I launch at the Carsons Creek (the ramp to the left, north Carsons Creek ramp I believe) and I just stay in that area while I'm there. I fish all the coves on the north side of the ramp and by the golf course and I've always had good success. I fish the mornings and evenings and throw Spooks, Yellow Magics, and Buzzbaits a lot during the first 2 hours and last 2 hours of the day. Otherwise I'm throwing a Squarebill, T-rig senko, and Spinnerbait near the rocks and points. I don't make it complicated while I'm there trying to look for them graphing the lake since it's family relaxing time. I just fish simple, always done pretty good, and never got skunked. I've caught some pretty decent fish in that area keeping it simple. Good luck.

Billybass, thanks for the heads up but seems like it is cooperating now!
Wasthatabite, already had drop shot tied up. So I'll be sure to throw it, thanks!
Bass Crankin, awesome stuff!! I know that area well, we launched there to ski and tube yesterday. I'll see what I can do. Thanks again everybody.
