I have been fishing Buck Creek for the last 2 weeks in the timbers at 20ft and not finding a lot of fish. Anyone fish the timbers of on the north side of the lake?
This morning I got a lot of small fish only 2 keepers i always use jigs.

Because Ray ROBERTS is a "Minnow Lake" for Crappie.

Try minnows and your luck will change. I'm a big jig fisherman as well, but on Ray Roberts they want them minnows. You will still get a few on jigs, but minnows is the ticket for Ray Roberts.

Tight Lines! fish
