OK, my budget department got together with accusations and decided this new top water deal is not gonna happen. So accusations got together with R and D and I cam up with some similar stuff that just kept fizzling out. Caught a few on this one tonight, tomm. I will give it the AM test. Trailer hook in a cocohoe tuxedo minnow, weedless.

You know, I put a big willow gold booyah blade on the back and had numerous blow ups but all on the back so no hook sets. Also had a few different craws on a screw set and had a lot suck it in but nothing attack the frog, so again no hook set. So that's how we have made it here. Caught a few dinks in the last hour of light on this set up all on the trailer. Give it a go tomm. Cost 0 bucks, wire from a jacked up spinner bait and double swivel from same spinner bait as well as the the other stuff.

Might give you all some ideas

If I were to do it again; would use a larger split ring, so I wouldn't need the snap for the tail to ride higher
Would use a large centering pin also

Yea. Form it like a whopper plopper, maybe a little smaller. Add a hook holder to attach it to a swivel.

I'm finding that the more powerful the prop, the more the frog is likely to spin onto it's back.

There's a fine balance of the centripetal force, how soft the frog is, and keel weighting the frog.

Getting closer
