I am not sure how many of these are in Waxahachie but I think around 6. Does the public have access to any of them? My buddy has been to a few different ones without care, but I do not want to go breaking laws myself if I go with him. Any and all information is much appreciated.

If they are on private land you do not have access without the land owners permission. Don't know about Waxahachie but several city's around DFW have purchased the land and turned them into parks. They state built them to help control flooding but left them to the land owners to maintain. I don't have any of the links anymore but I did look into it once. They belong to the land owners.

Most county agent offices used to have maps and locations of soil conservation lakes, they still might. Most are well stocked with bass, all manner of sunfish, and catfish. Many land owners are cooperative in letting you fish them if you ask permission.
