Well I need to go to the Apple Store because for whatever reason my Photobucket account shows my work email as my Apple ID and it will not work. Mateo and I headed out late today for a quick run. Fishing was slow for the most part few spots, lmb, and goo. We got a bit jumpy with the electric storm but it was staying cloud to cloud so we kept at it. Right at last light the fish turned on in a big way. Sandbass and striper were feeding without caution it quickly went from slow to world class!!! You could strip as fast as you wanted and they would smash it almost upon entry. That's when it happened had a much better fish on applied some pressure and snap. My three that is notorious for landing fish it had no business even tangling with snapped right at the end of the second piece. It's a 7'6" Mind you so I was left with two 3 and 3/4'pieces. I almost never take only one rod today was the day. Mateo pulling them in every cast drove me to madness lol. We were catching fish 10 to 15 yards in front of us so I figured if I could strip out the line and hold my reel and lower section between my legs I could make two short water hauls and fling the clouser just far enough. Mateo and I cracked up as we both went right back to catching fish every cast. The water was alive with fish in every direction the fading light just along is to see the ripples. The fish kept getting bigger the darker it got and Mateo finally got into a brute peeling line and swimming circles around him. Just after he finally took controle and landed that fish I hook another almost twin. Holding the tip section in my left hand the fish was ripping line thru my right I quickly grabbed the ree land lower section in the right hand this fish almost hit the backing as I didn't have a hand left to turn the handle lol. I finally grabbed both sections right at the break with my left hand and burried the reel seat in my gut to retrieve line. Took much longer than it should have we got a great laugh but somehow I finally managed to land it with Mateo finally getting a hand on it. Both stripers were almost twins. We left them biting every cast and it was pitch black spectacular day on the river. Now time to send off the 3 to get replaced can't believe I was able to continue with the success I did with the situation. Definitely reminded me why I always take more than one rod LOL none the less amazing day in the outdoors

Hi Robert, I always just upload my pics straight from my phone or computer. Hit the 5th button from the left when you're posting and it walks you through it from there. I've never liked using 3rd party sites for photos anyway, too much can go wrong.

Your comment about Photobucket made me curious, particularly when I saw that images in your post did not appear, but were replaced by a box with a message about 3rd party posting...I logged on to Photobucket and it looks like they have limited 3rd party posting to paid subscriptions recently.
I am not gonna subscribe to Photobucket - or any other website - just to avoid the ads and get one or two "privileges" I care nothing about.
If this is the case, I am bummed...it took me 3 months and several bottles of Makers just to get an image in my signature!
Any one confirm that this is the case? I saw the message on several other recent posts as well.

Yep that's the case. Like you, I refuse to pay to post images. I'm in the process of backing up all my photos from photo bucket to my computer. I have switched over to postimage.org. So far so good.

Yea mbarker backing them up is a real pain I've got thousands of them on there and many of them it's the only place I have them. I'll check out that post image. Eatshanddie tell me about it on figuring out the sizing for the sig line. I got so frustrated a couple of times I just scratched it and gave up. Not a very smart business idea I'm sure they will lose most of their advertisers for loss of viewers.

Robert, all I can tell you is I had the full image on bucket, and I had seen some info on the board about ideal image size, so I went to bucket and cropped/resized that image and used the link to upload the image to this board....as someone else posted the code was a mile long, but when I managed to copy it in the bucket window and paste to my txfff window, it took it!
It's a pain in the [censored] to transfer an image from your photo app to this board...I see so many beautiful images in posts, and I don't know how you guys do it.
I may be hampered by only having an iPad but I feel like others just do the downloads from their phones while they are driving on I635 and eating a Happy Meal.
I have not tried to upload an image from bucket since I saw your post. Maybe it still works???
If bucket won't let me upload to a third party unless I pay, I'm gone. I have Google Photos for storage, and I'll check out photo image for upload capability.
I've been on the PC/www since '94...the more it evolves, the more lost I get!
