I had the pleasure for taking Mike and his son Caden out today crappie fishing on Ray Roberts. This trip was for Caden's 18th birthday. They boated tons of crappie today and we landed one big largemouth and lost another good one that made it into the brush pile we were fishing. They had a great time and left with a few nice crappie to add to the fish they caught last week when Mike went out with me. Nice day on the lake and sure was nice to be the only boat at the ramp this morning. Had the lake to ourselves for the first few hours. Fish caught on brush and timber.
