What is going on with Fork? I can't seem to get much of anything going there. I concentrated on main lake points as much as the wind would let me over the past few day's. I've covered water from 5' to 25' throwing a variety of baits. I am graphing fish and some are suspended but some are on the bottom.

I'm not asking for spots, but I'm wondering if I'm the only one fighting mother Fork right now??

Thanks

It fished funny for me this last weekend. Focused mainly on points, ledges and humps in 16-25 feet. Graphed loads of fish that were relating to the bottom and not suspended. You really had to soak the bait. Most of my bites came just holding a jig on tight line and not hardly moving it. It was painfully slow but if you had the patience you can get a good amount of bites.

Summertime. Some days you catch them and some days you struggle. Other than that nothing is wrong with Fork.

$450-550 + breakfast, lunch and tip easily will add up to $600.

It's the price to pay if you want to learn Fork. Or just keep going and posting how tough Fork can be laugh

Just googled several of the most mentioned guides on Fork and the cheapest rate I found was for a full day was $450 and highest was $550.

It's money well spent in my opinion, or like I said earlier keep going on your own, struggling and spending much more with very little satisfaction.

Like Mark said above....its Summer. When the suns up and its hot, the fishing is better. Groups the fish up tighter to structure. When its overcast and cooler, it spreads them out more. Most people I know out there are catching them pretty good right now.

My favorite time of year to fish Fork is now. My favorite time of day is from 1-6PM. Unfortunately, I just can't tolerate this brutal heat and fish all day any longer.

I struggled there Monday. (But, I struggle everywhere) We caught a bunch of short fish.

There were several boats running the lanes on the wrong side of the lanes.
