Headed up to the brazos for vacation on Monday. Staying 4 days. I've been catfishing for a long time, but not sure of what the population is like up there. Many blues or flatheads to speak of, or am I better off putting the effort into catching a bunch of channel cats. This is the area of the house. (The blue circle just above "brazos bend")

The house is on the water, so I'm not too interested in traveling to fish. Just hopefully that area will be good.

Thought about running a trot line or some throw lines for flatheads if there are many in the area.

Any insight is appreciated.
