Hello all ! My mother is here from Kentucky, and so we decided to go to Fork. Haven't had much luck unfortunately. Caught a couple two pounders drop shotting by some bridge. Can any one enlighten me on where some of the grass I keep hearing about is? Or are they just super deep, and I have poor graphing skills LOL.
Thanks in advance fellars! flehan fish

Back of Birch but it's not deep. You'll have to take a number to get back there though.

I had not been on the lake since 'champs tournament in April, went last night and fished from 8pm to midnight. The coots must be eating the grass, where there was thick hydrilla it is now thin and about 2 feet off the bottom, coontail is still present and pondweed is spreading, I fished a few main lake banks in big caney, from 2 to 8 feet, and caught 11. Mostly "keepers" but one large slot hit a buzzbait, and two other nice slots hit spinnerbaits. Zoom "ole monster" worm produced the most bites.

There is/was (June-SOT) Grass in Alligator, Birch, Glade, Caney, Running, Coffee, Sticky, Penson, Boardtree, you name it (or not). Each area has it's own mix of grasses and varying techniques to suit what is available. Pick one and go!
