 8th ANNUAL CARA YOUNG FISH FOR LIFE TOURNAMENT

The 8th Annual Cara Young Fish For Life Tournament has been scheduled for Sunday, September 17, 2017. The anglers will be fishing Lake Grapevine, with the weigh-in being held at Cabela's Fort Worth store location. Scott Gordon will be the tournament director again this year. Entry fee will be $150.00 per team, big bass included. Please visit Scott's website, http://gordonoutdoors.squarespace.com for a complete listing of the rules. The free kids fishing event will also be held at Cabela's the same day from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for kids 14 and under. Hourly weigh-in and prizes for the big fish each hour. A new kayak donated by Cabela's will be awarded to the kiddo who catches the biggest fish of the day!! Winner must be present at 2:00 p.m. This will be a fun day for all so be sure to mark your calendar and come on out, do some shopping and help raise money for Cook Children's Medical Center. Our banquet and silent auction this year is scheduled for Saturday, October 7th at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. More information for this will be posted later in a separate post. There will be live release tank at this event so please come support Cara Young!! All fish going back to the vine Good to hear... it was quite sad seeing those big smallies getting dumped in the Cabelas pond last year.
