Got a new Windstorm Boat cover. It fits my 89 sf 175 skeeter well. My problem is the straps are too long. Do you guys cut your straps to length once you get them in the desired location on the boat.

Yes. Burn the ends after the cut. Make sure to leave enough strap to loosen in order to fasten the buckles and get both hands on it to pull it down tight.
