Considering the purchase of a Abu Garcia Revo Rocket. Any thoughts? Must have? No good?

I wouldn't pay retail for one. But that's just me, I have it and a lews mb, in a 8 gear ratio, I use the lews more and I would buy another lews or a tatula before the revo.

I had one, it made one trip at Falcon before it took a dump, then went in the trash can.

I like mine especially for buzzbaits.... No issues. Just do not pay retail, ever. Spend 5 minutes on Amazon and/or E-Bay. Below retail, usually no tax or shipping and it shows up on your doorstep in a couple days: https://www.ebay.com/p/Abu-Garcia-129276...Reel/3003301342

if you're still looking for one.. Tacklewarehouse.com has 15% off for July 4th Sale... and the Rocket is already on sale.

$195.49 shipped, no tax.

I'd say that's a good deal from a reputable dealer.
