Been Catching nice quality fish each time I have been going out. I usually fish from sun up till about 10 or 11 am. I am done before the HEAT sets in. Rivers,ponds,and creeks are the places I am fishing. Catching good numbers of Bluegill,Rios,Longear,Redbreast,and Greens. Catching fair numbers of Redear,LMB,and catfish. Rounding out the summer catch are a few Warmouth. Finding fish in Rivers by weed/grass beds,drop offs,and overhanging tree limbs. Fish are in 10 to 15 feet of water. I am finding fish in ponds by over hanging tree limbs and drop offs. Having good creek results fishing by brush piles,ends of currents,and overhanging tree limbs. All fish were caught on worms with ultralight tackle. Water bodies are in good shape but we can use a couple of good rains. Catching some hungry fish during the summertime. It just don't get any better.

Thanks Allan for the reply. It has been a GREAT summer so far. The only things to complain on is the heat and that we can use a couple of more nice showers! (Famous Rain Dance).

Side note. I have been told that the night bite on the upper Guadalupe is GREAT.

Thanks Curtis. Guadalupe bite has been very good in the morning! Plenty of nice Bluegill and Redbreast. Not many Redear. The Rio bite has been good.

Nice fish and post Chuck. Looks like some cooler weather and rain is in the forecast. Will this help the fishing.
