Two years ago tomorrow i took Flounder to tawakoni for his first time and ever since we have made dozens of trips out there together. Today was one of them. We started out slow and looking for top water but never found it.So we got some bait and went looking deep. It was hit or miss for a while but then the last hour and a half we found a good group of fish. 36 foot was the key. If we got deeper or shallower than 36 they would not bite. We ended up catching about 25 hybrid striped bass and 20 big sand bass. It was fast and furious and we landed some big fish. We kept a two man limit for the grill. Didn't see too many boats out so it was not crowded at all. Any way we got back to the cleaning station and Mike fired up his propane grill and grilled us some home made hamburgers YUM YUM . Thanks again Michael for taking me today it was an absolute blast.
It cracks me up though when you say we kept a 2 man limit for the grill, then we got back fired up the grill and made hamburgers. I was so expecting you to say fish tacos not hamburger.
LOL i guess that did sound funny. Mike has a portable propane grill for his boat. And he said brought some burgers to cook, So we both had HAMBURGER on our mind when we got back to the cleaning station LOL. Sure made the cleaning a lot better with a full belly --LOL--
