I blew the engine on my Basscat a few weeks ago and it is taking up space in my driveway. I bought it to fix it up while I was able to fish out of it. I actually was fishing tournaments out of it until that time.
The bad.....it needs a new interior (seats and carpet). Most of the carpet is out of it. It has a soft spot around the drain in the floor. The gelcoat is faded. Definitely not a pretty boat.
The good... I had new bearings put on the trailer. I put new tires on it...upgraded to 12 ply. I had the livewells serviced and fully functional.
The motor is a BLOWN XP 150 evirude. It does stil have a good lower unit, tilt/trim and stainless steel prop. Also has a hotfoot.
It also has an 80 LB Minnkota Maxxum foot controlled trolling motor that funtions but is rough(arrow is off, has been used quite a bit).
I do have the title for the boat and motor.
In a nutshell, if someone repowers it you can be on the water with a fully functional bass boat.
If someone decides to part it out they can make a few bucks considering the purchase price.
Wife says it's got to go.
I can text pictures upon request, but like I said it is not a pretty boat.
