Thinking about taking daughter out Sunday to try and find some but I haven't fished Lewisville much. Any suggestion on where they may be? Thanks

I will be out there tomorrow as well. A friend asked I take him and his son. Two weeks ago I found some at the party cove cut. What time you going FishnDenton? Maybe we can share some information. I will be in the Blue 16ft walkthru aluminum tracker.

Went this morning and caught 1. Was raining and no schooling. I should have cat fished. We also had two 5 year olds so we really needed the top water bite but nothing.

I went 7-2-2017. Two guide boats together catching white bass and Hybrids with live shad. They were the only boat i noticed doing well. They were at a set of humps called the Gravel Pits. I was off the water by 9:30 am to avoid all the crazy boaters that come out on the holidays. I did not see any top water. Be safe.

Since I no longer live in Texas, I will give up my sandie hotspot. The Toll Bridge. For some reason, trolling the north side was more productive. Or on weekdays with little boat traffic, surface schools would appear between 3 and 5 pm.

Thanks for your post. I had been wondering if they were working in that area like in years past but hadn't checked it out now that I'm back on this lake. Had my wife and 7 and 4 years olds out July 4th AM, with the storm the night before, the high early winds (they dropped off just in time) and the lower than normal temps, the lake was not yet crowded. Found them right where you said and stayed on them for two hours. The kids caught a bunch of fish. Towards the end when it was settling down marked scattered fish at 30 feet, in 55+ feet deep, so dropped slab fly combos down and caught a fish or two every few minutes, all of those being bigger fish.
