There is nothing hard about it. But it kinda leaves you locked in for those moments when you wanna get up quick or you left the trolling motor down etc. I like the wrist idea. Gonna try that out. Thanks guys.

Mine stays hooked to the lifejacket all day. I take the jacket off when I stop so its not inconvenient.
Pick up the jacket and put it on. Sit down and start the motor. Go.
Repeat as necessary.
