Thinking of going from lavon to ray Hubbard in my canoe does anyone know if it is good fishing this time of the year through there?

For catfish absolutely, any creek or river will be good in the summer. Fish breaks if there is current and any wood in the water.

Skip the creek and fish the lake right outside the mouth of the creek. Anchor up a few hundred yards from the mouth over the channel and fish under a bobber with cut bait. Tons of blues up there this time of year.

Gar might be a problem right now. They ate me up yesterday in the creek mouth at GV.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!
