Been using B&M Buck's rods been having them breaking I am looking for a rod that can hold up to heavy use.

You'll get plenty of opinions but the ProAngler rods are my favorite. For the price, the quality is top shelf and they will take plenty of heavy use. I think MO landed a 40+ lb yellow cat on his rod. I landed a blue that went 18 lbs on an 8 footer. The guides are stainless and your choice of cork or foam handle.

Pro angler tackle rods are great. I have 5.5, 8 and 10 footers and all work great and are priced right. I haven't broken any tips but my son is hard on equipment and he has broken one, but we ordered the replacement tip. They also ship very fast. If you order earlier in the week, you'll be fishing with it on the weekend.

If you're on a budget, Pro Angler gets very high ratings on bang for the buck. If you aren't worried about cost, G-Rods gets the nod.

My 2 cents.....you have four choices dictated by budget.
Below $50 ypu lose sensitivity, backbone, overall feel, quality.
$55 Proangler or ACC Crappie stik.
$100 Bonehead.
$150 G-Rod.
I have Crappie Stik, Bonehead, and G-Rod and have landed 5 lb plus cats or Bass with all three.
I would by a large margin place the 7 or 8 ft G-Rod in first place.
I am not a netter but a flipper, I enjoy this more, and have never had a problem with any Crappie. All have very adequate backbone.
I have my 7 ft Bonehead double rigged and if I am over a school of Whites use it to catch doubles and have a blast.

You know you are a fishaholic if you have more rods than your wife has shoes!

Thanks for all the input on the rods I will be looking to get some quickly. I am not new to crappie fishing or any other type of fishing I have landed plenty of 5 and 6 lbs bass with my 12 ft crappie rod but I catch on avenger 200 crappie a month just year so far and those rods just been breaking about every 3 months in the same place. Thanks to every one been thinking of bonehead rods and the proangler

I use Proangler, green ACC Crappie Stix, and GLoomis. The ACC barely edges out the PA as my favorite, but also costs more when you factor in the free shipping on the PA crappie rods. You really can't go wrong with a 8-10' PA if you fish brush piles.
