Wife and I want to see Glacier National Park. I'd like to fish a little also. Anyone have suggestions on where to stay?

Well, this is just a bit west of Montana, but I've always wanted to visit Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho for one reason:
20+ pound rainbow trout!

Lake Coeur d'Alene has some big bass in the south end, as do the small lakes just off the St Jo River, right above where it flows into Coeur d'Alene. In Montana, Flathead Lake (not far from Glacier National Park to its northeast)has a good population of both LM and SM.That lake can get rougher than PK, though.
