I will be heading to Galveston to fish. I will be putting in at the GYC , I will be in a 21 ft center console. New to saltwater fishing, any advice and fishing spots, bait? not really targeting any fish in specific. thanks for the help

might better call the GYC first. don't think the public can launch there anymore. probably be better to use the causeway bait camp or Fat Boys or the Texas City Dyke. to answer your question, i'd hit the jetties, north and south on both inside and out, then time allowing, run to Hanna's Reef in East Bay and the Bolivar wells. good luck.

Thanks for the info, I did call GYC
and the said $2 a foot to launch
