My son and some buddies (from Dallas) are on a fireworks crew for shows in the PortA area over the next few days.

It's been forever since I've been down there. Any recommendations or warnings for wade fishing the area are appreciated.

If they're wading the surf, just watch the flags put out (I think at beach access 1 and 2). Mind the rip currents. If they are wading the bays, watch for drop offs and mud/shell. Don't wade the channels. Be mindful of stingrays.



I fish on a 14 ft piece of plastic.
