I was restocking on brush hogs....Academy in Tyler had ZERO bags of watermelon-red.
By chance I walked through the fishing section at Troup Hwy Walmart and found them....and some others I liked.....all on sale for $3.48
Feel like that's a decent price. FYI

Wish I was there. I need to restock for Mexico. Thanks for sharing.
Sometimes I get lucky and find someone selling out here on the TFF. I look everyday.

I restocked my Brush Hog supply at Tackle Warehouse's Memorial Day event. With their 15% discount the price was $3.56 plus I got an additional 10% military discount.
Supposedly Tackle Warehouse will be having a 4th of July sale starting probably Friday, June 30th but not sure what the discounts will be.

I need to order some. I bought some that someone was making on the forum and they are just to soft. I usually only get one bite out of them and have to replace. The store bought last a pretty good time before becoming unusable.

I use to try other colors but a big green pumpkin brush hog can't be beat!
The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

You can avoid plastic lure outage emergencies if you stick moderately tore up plastics in your pocket and when you get home slather Otay 31013 PVC on the holes and tears in them and put them in a plastic bag for emergency use. The fish liked them just fine yesterday.
