When looking for a new area/fish or just running a new lake how do you set up your graphs.
Side imaging with standard sonar? Side imaging only?

Split 4 for me, with the Chart section being the biggest (if splits are adjustable on your unit).

Charts, 2D Sonar, DI and SI

Should say my charts will be on a separate screen not on the graph

In that case, I'd run 2D and then your 3D SI and DI on the other graph

Here's a pic of a sunken walkway/bridge I found yesterday...There's no way I could have made out what that was without 3D imaging, on the bottom left/right

With a separate unit for Chart, do a three-way on the graphing screens... Three-way split: side imaging the larger pane, then 2D over DI split on the other two.

Guys; be sure to take someone with you to watch the boat traffic and for hazards while you are looking at two units with 8 screens going.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.
