First time on the water since the baby was born. Haven't been since early May. Hit up Lake Nacogdoches.

Tried topwater early for a few minutes. Got a 4.5 lb trash fish on the second cast.


Then came upon this dead fawn. Very strange.


Got 22 keeper crappie by 10am.
