My swimming pool is open even during lighting storms. Kinda unnerving, but it's kinda fun.

I also have an indoor trainer I ride my bike on...but it's not my favorite.

I LOVE running in the rain as long as it's not lightning. I will not ride a bike on wet streets.....I fell New Years Day riding on wet street (wasn't even raining, just humid and foggy).

How's it going, bros? Haven't been hanging out at health and fitness thread, but need to get back at it. I'm getting closer to another ballz to the wallz grind. I've only gained 4 lbs for all my time off. Weighing in at 233. Got down to 229 is the lightest. I need to make up my mind and go for the gusto again but not 100% ready quite yet. Hope all is doing well......I'll be back in time!

Put it on the weekly schedule....plan the week today. Specify exactly what you want to do each day. It will come much easier if it's written down or you tell someone. Good luck!

Yesterday I took a Yoga class at the local Brewery. $10 is an hour long class and a free beer. Best thing I have done all month. So much fun! I'd suggest it to anyone!

I'm feeling pretty good, the wife is getting back into a workout routine so we've been eating a bit healthier and walking/riding with the kids a lot in the evenings after dinner.

I got down to 212 this weekend, but it was mostly water weight. Probably been close to 10 years since I weighed that. On Saturday my Fitbit had me at like 33,000 steps. eeks 50 mile bike ride, the a whole bunch of yard work followed by a big shrimp boil... Then rode 10 yesterday, my legs are still hurting.

I haven't ran since the triathlon about a month ago. Too hot.

These high humidity days are killing my motivation to train outside. Early morning bike rides are it for me right now.

Heat training is my favorite. I like to feel the salt on my skin afterwards. grin

I don't mind exercising in the "heat" because when I exercise, I expect to sweat, a lot.

However, I don't like cooking in the direct sunlight, burning my neck and arms. When I ride, I prefer the shaded trails over the open sunlight fields. I do both to get through trails, but some parts are more fun than others.

At home, I work out in the living room on a mat or the open floor.

Addendum: I'm holding myself accountable to do something at least 6 times a week. My "off" day would usually be Sunday, but it's a random day now.
