I have an "office meeting" with the reps from the state agency that oversees wetlands today.

we have to figure out how to regulate the "lakes" water level, the controls that were installed originally are not working at all.

this should be fun! polaris for an office, shotgun for a briefcase (snake repellent, not for the state people).

last time it was a convoy of 3 trucks and 7 people, this may be a whole division today.

this place is a designated wetland area, at least 800 or so acres are. the state has a lease on it for another 84 or so yrs. as a wetland. the duck lakes have to be regulated for optimum water level to keep the duckies happy.
the new owner is gettin proactive on spiffin the place up to what it should be.

these are kinda fun, I get to drive around and listen to the opinions of what they think should be done then I go do what has to be done.

actually they come from 3-4 different offices/locations and all pull atv/utvs with them.

I think they are part of the riverby ranch mitigation stuff too, I am surrounded by 30,000 acres of what is now state land that will be going back to natural/wetlands and no public access for at least 5 yrs. (just repeating what I have been told, no idea if it is right or not).

I am turning up the pig hunting big time this week, the epic hunt is lookin pretty probable now. I still have 15# of tannerite too.
