What do you pay a month? I hate to pay for radio, but I cant pick up squat inside the house here. Mainly want sports talk and Rangers, Cowboy, and Maverick games. I already bought the speakers and adaptor kit. Still need the actual radio.

You can stream all of that from your phone. You'll have to pay for MLB app to stream Rangers broadcast though. It's still much cheaper than Sirius.

You do know you can play whatever your phone is streaming through a sound system?

Whatever you do be sure to follow the charges. They will set up autopay, and go up every renewal period. So stay in touch and negotiate. I use the free iHeartRadio on my phone. Can tune in any channel in the couuntry.. Blue tooth stereo speakers will solve the sound issues for you.

$25 for 6 months. I call and say I'm going to cancel and they give me this price to stay. Just have to play the game and call to cancel service at the end of your contract or they will do the autopay at a much higher rate.

Don't know how it is using the phone and a bluetooth speaker or similar setup, but I tried the MLB radio-only thing (streaming through Sonos speakers) and it was terrible. There was nothing wrong with connectivity, it was the fact that there was no audio level processing. I had to turn it way up to hear the broadcast, which was fine, but then the commercials between innings were 10X louder. Turn it down and 3 minutes later have to turn it back up to hear the broadcast again. It was a huge hassle to try to listen to a game. Maybe it was just the online streaming through Sonos or maybe it was just the Rangers broadcast but it wasn't worth even the cheap $20 for the season price.

Never..ever..give them your CC number...just tell them to bill you for services. I pay annually. I can listen in my car, through my stereo system, boat and computer, both laptop and desktop.

I think that now you can buy just the stream service too, phone/bluetooth speakers and poof, you have sirius/xm. go to the site and look at radios if you plan on goin that way, I used to have the mobile vehicle set up and had the house adapter, worked great thru the yamaha system. buy fromt the site and I think they have some pretty good specials for first time subscriptions. I just keep payin, been with xm since 04
