You specifically looking for bluegills or just any kind of bluegill/sunfish/panfish?

Eric is right, pretty much any body of water in the Dallas area will have some sort of sunfish/panfish. They may be small, but they will be there. Heck, I've seen puddles after a rain with small sunfish in them.
I take my 5-year old to the local ponds, set him up with a hook under a bobber and stick a small chunk of worm on it. He catches all the sunfish he wants with that setup.

The only reason you can't catch perch/blue gill in the Dallas area is if you can't get to the water, don't own a kid snoopy pole or can't catch grasshoppers or dig for worms.

There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

Just about any creek in Dallas will hold sunfish. Bachman creek along shorecrest drive, Joe's creek on walnut hill between Marsh and Webb Chapel, 5 mile Creek in Oak cliff, Pentagon Parkway/Rugged drive area, in the Kiest Park nature area, Whie rock lake has big bluegills that bed near the reeds by the sailboat clubs, Bachman lake has big bluegill that bed just out in front of cypress trees near rec ctr on lower end of lake. Tons of places.

Hit Bachman creek this morning. 20 bream, mixe3d bag of long ear, bluegill, and green sunfish. Some of the greenies were between 8-10 inches long. Nice ones.
UL gear, 6 lb Berkley trilene, 32nd oz red/charteuse tube jigs only bait used. Also caught 10 dink bass, 1 channel cat, 1 blue cat, and one drum.
They are out there waiting to be caught, no doubt about it.
Go getcha some.
