Will there be some rain in Rowlett or should I just let my sprinklers run tomorrow morning?

Check weather.com through tomorrow morning. After that southbound storm peters out, there's a northbound one that WILL get Dallas wet. I am so confident with this forecast that if I am wrong, Hops will send each of you a crisp hunderd dolla bill. bolt

Did you get up early to go and then checked the weather?

I can't tell when round 2 is going to get here but yeah, not a good idea to be on Texoma this morning!

Been on that lake years ago from Highport and way down by the dam. Long before cell phones and weather apps and majorly misjudged the speed of an incoming storm before we decided to haulazz back. Got about halfway before it hit. Big BIG mistake. One of the scariest things I've ever been through. Biggest waves I've ever been in on a freshwater lake and raining so dam hard you couldn't hardly see a thing. I just hugged the shoreline at really slow speed all the rest of the way back in case we had to beach it. That episode made me real cautious after that!!

I didn't expect round two but looked at the weather and no way will I drive 1 1/2 hours up with big storms on the way.

I've been on Texoma during some big winds for tournaments and it's a challenge to move around. The BLT a few months ago had monster winds from the North and in the dark I made my way up to Soldier from Highport slipping between the islands to the backside. Not sure of the wind speed but there were whitecaps in Soldier so you can imagine the ride back to Highport was interesting.

I'm going to hit Lavon at around 6am and do the milkrun of high probability spots before the storms hit here...I was really looking forward to Texoma. Hit some good fish last weekend and was hoping to see if I could pattern them better.
