 Ram Mount Bow Install Location

Hey guys. Just bought a Helix 9 for the bow of my Skeeter. It's an older boat (2000) so I'm looking for the best place on the deck to install the ram mount. Carpeted area to the right of the foot switch of the trolling motor or on the raised fiberglass part? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I mounted mine in the right corner of your picture to have it out of the way of the trolling motor and cables plus I got interference from the trolling motor when I had it closer
