It has been a month, but look for the schoolers on the bridges, Carolina rigs. Don't worry about missing them on the surface, when one or two come up cast in their direction, there are BIG ones underneath!
If they are pumping water in at the dam from Sandlin, hit it, you can get good in a hurry! Water temps should be close to ninety now, they were running three stacks my last trip out there!

Its been pretty crowded lately which can really affect that lake from a fun stand point as many people that come out are similar to some of the nonsense that goes on at Fork. I've had countless boats including some Fork guides come right in on me. Even had one last year get close enough so he could see the bait told his client to "tie this on" and then threw it within 30' of my boat. I just quiet left after catching another 5 pounder in front of them which was about my 5th in the last hour or so.

Do the stacks running make them bite better in summer? I'm guessing it would be more because of current and less because of water temp

The question was simple....does them generating help the fishing. The answer is yes. The fishing always seems to be best when they are generating....probably due to the additional current in the lake. It seems when they shut things down the bite slows down big time because those bass are used to current....kind of like river fish.

Go with white swimjigs in Smith and Blundell. They're paying off right now.
