As always great post and some super fish Chuck.  Side Note: Seems the bite has picked up during the dog days of summer. Fish seem to be more active than at the start of summer. What do you think?

Thanks Curtis for the reply. The morning bite has been awesome all summer long. We have some cooler temperatures coming in this week along with a chance of some much needed rain. If we get the rain the bite will really turn on!

Updated forecast drops the chances of rain. Got a nice shower yesterday. Fished the east side of the Guadalupe and the bite was good. Catching nice Bluegill under overhanging tree limbs in about 8 to 10 feet!

Thanks Curtis for the update. The 3 plus inches of rain we got yesterday is really going to help a lot. It is going to be a GREAT late summer,fall bite.
