I get up nice and early to do some crappie fishing on the LL I-35 bridge and some jerk has been throwing cast nets near and in between every pillar. Don't see doing much good after.

Sounds like somebody catching bait for Hybrids/Stripers. I doubt it scared all the Crappie off for more than a few minutes.

As long as what he was doing was legal it shouldn't matter, unless he was directly interfering with your fishing, and that doesn't mean you wanting all the pillars to yourself.

He got there early because he told that last time he went by the bridge to cast for bait some JERK had come before him and cast lures at all the pillers and messed things up.

so I'll be out at the little elm bridge at 5am tomorrow. apologize in advance. thats just where the bait is. under the lights. no one intentionally tries to mess up the fishing for the crappie guys. i bet that guy meant no harm.

What makes him a jerk? Last time I checked the lakes of this state are open to everyone to use.

Too bad no one had that to say about the old time carp and buffalo gill netters a long time and ten million egg eating rough fish 45 years ago, when Big Sam still had acres of 4-6 lb bass schooling on top most days of the summer. Of course, they killed a lot of big gator gar which snacked on big bass daily. No, we cant have that. Enough bass for people to eat too just isnt on the agenda for PC.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish, he will sit in a boat all day and drink beer.
