What is a good area to drop a brush pile? Next to a creek channel? At the bottom of a drop off? Thinking about dropping one next week but don't know what kind of area to drop it in. Thanks in advance!

I've had my best luck on brush piles that are right on the edge of a drop off or a point.
To whom much is given, much is required.

What bush hog said. Also have learned over the years putting the limbs down horizontal works better than letting them stand up!

Location has already been discussed above; now send us the gps coordinates so we can confirm you did it like they said, ok. I'm just offering to help, you know.

Building brushpiles is like a sickness. Once you get it you can't stop.
Almost anyplace will work. I like to find a place out of the south wind that's not near anything else like timber. Along the dam riprap is excellent. Bare points are good. . If you can find old concrete foundations (Lewisville is full of them) drop on or beside them.
All our lakes are built on old farm land so old house foundations, cellars, steps are there waiting for you to find.
Brush piles are like graphs, BIGGER IS BETTER.
Now you know where to find mine.
